In 2000, Pezhman Ebad founded Globex Horizon in Dubai. He arrived not as a first-time entrepreneur guessing at a market, but as a businessman with a clear eye for opportunity, a tolerance for hard work, and a quiet belief that Dubai was a city worth betting on early — before it became obvious to everyone else.
Over the next twenty-five years, Globex Horizon grew. Quietly, steadily, honestly. No shortcuts. No overnight exits. Just an investment company built across seventeen businesses — each one selected with the same discipline and patience that defines how Pezhman has always operated. By the time most people in Dubai had heard of him, he had already been building for decades.
The most personal chapter came from his wife. Mahboube had spent years walking through Dubai with quiet frustration — a city with extraordinary wealth and no luxury salon experience worthy of it. “Pezhman,” she told him one evening, “there is money in this city without a worthy place to spend it.” In that observation, Elaris began. He turned down ten venture capital offers in three weeks. Elaris was not built to be sold.
Today, Globex Horizon sits behind four Elaris branches, AED 8.3M in verified annual revenue, and a 25-year track record of honouring every investor obligation through 9/11, the 2008 crash, 2015, and COVID. Not one default. Not one missed payment. In twenty-five years.
